Nice. Another important yet more difficult aspect to consider is fin flex. Too much flex and the board bogs through the turns, losing speed. Not enough flex, and it feels like you're riding a train cart.

Couldn't agree more, those pesky fins. And that's a good point, I am planning another article in the series on materials - mildly upset that I won't be able to top that train cart analogy for feeling locked in!
